Something I read somehere on the internet may be a good thing for you to say.
" You are not technically `hearing' voices. You are having voices projected into your ear nerve via a malicious mechanism (ie. voice 2 skull) "
As soon as you start saying to doctors and psychiatrists that you are hearing voices they begin to suspect schizophrenia and can then drag you off to a lunatic aslylum for mental health assesment.
