We can try various forms of shielding, but, as far as I am concerned, if they can see us, we have already lost the battle.
Many victims are suspicious of the air freshener type of ionic device and I think they are right. Thermal imaging is unreliable if you are wearing dark clothing and sitting in the dark. From my observations, they are using ioniser tech to locate us in the dark.
Very simply, they fill your room with positive ions, and because you are a source of negative ions, they can tell where you are, just by tracking where there are fewer positive ions.
